This is how my set up is with ADAT mic pre and it works well. In Pro Tools, set the clock to ADAT OPTICAL and the 003 will sync to the MOTU. Also the sample rates NEED to match as well. Set the 003 as the SLAVE and the MOTU as the MASTER with their selective switches. Only one ADAT cable is needed going OUT from your MOTU and IN to the 003. However today I plugged one in and there was only a flashing orange light, no blue.
